So where have I been the last 2 months?
We've had a temporary addition to our family.
Her name is Xiao Xue, which means Little Snow. She's an orphan. She's five months old, but weighs the same as a newborn at just over 7 lbs. She has several health problems, and has a really hard time growing.
She was with our family for just under six weeks, and now she is staying with some friends for a couple weeks. We feel honored to have had her with us for so long, but it was definitely one of the hardest things I've ever done!

She will always have a special place in my heart

I remember both our times with our foster kids and all I can say is though it is so hard at times, the lessons it teaches your family, especially those little girls, is priceless! Miss you guys!

What a wonderful, kind thing to do! Beautiful post, and beautiful pictures of you and the family.
I've been looking for ways to volunteer here in Qingdao, especially with kids. When you have time, maybe we could get together and talk about it.
