9 Months

From 2013.01 January

Matthew turns 9 months in a couple days, and I thought I would record a few of his favorite things at this stage.

Peek-A-Boo!
From 2013.01 January

From 2013.01 January

He has actually loved this for a while, but only recently did he start participating by pulling the blanket over his face and back down again.  He will sometimes just go crazy with happiness when I lay him on the changing table because he knows we often play it there.

His Hammer
From 2012.12 December

Or anything else long and skinny he can hold in his hand and use to bang on things.  I've started calling him Thor.  He also loves his Xylophone, as it combines a hammer with another of his favorite things...

Music!

Or anything that makes it.  If he is crying, all his daddy has to do is strum the guitar and he'll immediately calm down.  He's even had to do this in the middle of the night :-P

Crawling
From 2013.01 January

He figured this out about a month ago, and has since taken off!  He is such a different kid!  No more clingy fussy always wanting mommy baby, he will sometimes entertain himself almost endlessly...but he does still LOVE...

Mommy!
From 2013.01 January

Nursing, sleeping with, playing with, being carried by, he is in love with his mommy.  The other day I left him with a baby sitter for 3 hours and he didn't forgive me for quite a while.

His Tongue
From 2013.01 January

This has been of the last couple weeks, he often just crawls around the house with his tongue hanging out.

Water
From 2012.12 December

Drinking it, spilling it, bathing in it, this kid LOVES water, as long as he doesn't get too cold, which means we probably can't do baths in the sink any more.

His Toys
From 2013.01 January

And of course his sister's too :-)

I'm glad that Amanda linked your blog too! Now I can see the kids. They are so adorable. Of course. When will we get to see you again? Hopefully sooner rather than later.
