Spoiled

It's been a bit quiet here since Lizbeth and I traveled the world together to spend some quality time with her extended family. It's late here (after midnight) and I really need to get to bed but I just wanted to get up a quick post to let you all know we're still here.

Lizzy is having a wonderful time showing off for all of her relatives. They in turn are having a wonderful time spoiling her...as evidenced below. This was courtesy of her nainai (paternal grandmother). Don't worry, Nainai ate off all the nuts and chocolate...like I said. Spoiled :-)

We have a sweet friend here who is also an amazing photographer! She offered awhile ago to take Lizzy's pictures to add to her portfolio and we were happy to oblige. The timing of the pictures worked out to one week before her birthday, so it's fun to have some semi-professional pictures to mark the occasion.

1st Birthday, Take One

While Lizbeth doesn't officially turn one until next Friday, she and I are about to get on a plane to America in two days. Nathan will also take off on his spring trip with the 10th grade class, so we decided to have a small china party before we all go separate ways.

There were already two parties planned for today and I am exhausted with preparations for leaving, so we decided to keep it small. Just a play date in the park with some cupcakes and sunscreen! Fun was had by all, and it was a beautiful day!

I know they're a little late, but thought you still might enjoy. I wish they had turned out better, but oh, well. We were dealing with a bunch of kids and a few hungry adults...guess things definitely could have been worse! As it was, we were last to the fellowship Sunday lunch and had to be seated outside of the restaurant in the hotel hallway! Haha!
